Adriana Siso founded and runs Molecule Design, a brick-and-mortar and online retail venue that sells avant-garde industrial design. Molecule has worked with the most innovative American and European contemporary design brands in furniture, lighting, and accessories for residential and commercial projects.  On a grander scale, Molecule explores general design themes including industrial design, architecture, sustainable design, smart materials, business and technology through InContext – Molecule’s Design magazine

2006-2008 –

Adriana Siso designed the first cargo container building in Santa Fe, New Mexico, a partly sustainable architectural project for the Santa Fe Railyard District in the Baca Street area.  The building houses her Molecule Design store

2002-

Adriana Siso founded InStock/Furniture & Design (the initial contemporary design venue in Santa Fe, NM), which also operated as an online store. Then, the very first partner companies were Vitra, Moooi, Calligaris, Innovation, Carl Hansen & Son, Pablo Pardo, Cherner and others. Now, it represents over 80 designers/manufacturers, including De La Espada, Bensen, Droog, Tom Dixon, Loll, and Flux.  Adriana’s interest is to promote the work of young industrial design companies both at a local and national level

80’s-2000’s-

  • Worked at The Santa Fe Opera in set design and costume design
  • Designed a custom all-surface, non-lath plaster material that was shared in many projects with a local Santa Fe contractor, in Santa Fe, New Mexico
  • Operated a faux painting endeavor for residential & commercial projects in the USA and Venezuela
  • Co-founded West Manhattan ArtSpace (artist’s studios) and Black Mesa Ceramics, Santa Fe, New Mexico
  • Still photographer movie production, Caracas, Venezuela, and Miami, Florida
  • New Music terrestrial radio DJ at Radio Artifacts, Miami, Florida, and later at Radio Molecule at various internet radio platforms, art making, and exhibitions in the US and Venezuela

1977-1987-

  • Owned and operated Entonces, a fashion design store in Valencia, Venezuela. Entonces offered Brazilian and Italian beachwear as well as in-store designed and produced lines.
